Thanks guys. Throwing around the idea of doing a budger turbo build, but don't want to be limited because of the fuel setup.

I didn't want to be limited either which is why I got everything down to my turbo a little over sized(but matched) so when I build a block I can just swap it out and up the boost!
The id1000s are supposed to have better tunability in a wider range,

The word budget goes out the window kinda fast lol.

I am ocd so I wanted everything to consist of good parts, I guess you could save a little money getting different parts but I couldn't be happier with my setup! It pulls, feels, sounds, and drives like a new car,it Realy is a lot smoother pull than any other setup I've had, I will post a video Nextime I Have a chance

Can't wait to see what you put together! !

Thanks. I have about 3 grand saved up, and I can sell my heads for around $1,500, my cam for around $350, headers, air lid, filter, dual exhaust, etc., so that should net me quite a bit more to add into the budget.

Edit: Are you running e85, and if not, will your fuel setup support it?

There Ya go! That sounds like enough to get a pretty good start... shouldn't take much more.

If you start selling stuff off and save up a little more within the next couple months you should have enough time to still have a little fun this coming summer.. that's what I would do if I was you..

E85 for now. But when my tank is empty I am going to get retuned on gas

If I go with a fuel setup like this, e85 is what I'll be running. It's plentiful here in mid MO and several other turbo LSx's run it here.

I see where the Lonnies double pumper complete fuel setup is $1,650.00. It doesn't say what size pumps those are, or what they, and the fuel system, is rated to. Any idea?

"I offer the dual pump kit with hotwire & Walbro pumps. It is good for 1000rwhp with aftermarket lines & approx 700rwhp on stock lines. My kits come completely assembled & tested (built from your factory fuel module) & includes a boost activation switch."

From Lonnie...I am really considering his kit. But I like ws6turbos setup also...decisions decisions.

$1,650 for the Lonnies kit, which includes everything you need.

It is expensive, but saves the hassle of having to piece together a fuel setup. Plus, your fuel setup will be good for whatever you can throw at it now or in the future.

What's this kit kit come with? Jw because it sounds a little high for a kit based around walbro pumps... does it come with injectors and everything?

Piecing it together is not bad, it's not like you have to run around n get stuff... your just going to spend a hour or 2 on the phone and internet ordering stuff, that's all. ..and this way you could get everything one by one as you can afford it if you want

The kit comes with twin high output fuel pump kit, wiring harness and hobbs switch, -8 supply and -6 return lines, fuel rails, regulator, filter, and all the fittings needed to connect to the double pumper sending unit. It does require you to send in your sending unit for modification. The Teflon line upgrade is an extra $150.00. Basically, you're getting everything you need, but injectors are not included.
