Default Gen3 Crank index position?

Working with an unfamiliar after market ECU. (Fuel Tech FT-350) Trying to setup my ignition.

I have my 24t Crank and 1t cam gear input.

It's asking my for the "Crank Index Position"

configure the alignment of the trigger wheel
used in the engine, informing in which tooth the sensor is positioned when
the engine is on TDC (cylinder 1 on TDC). The teeth are counted from the
fault reference point (open space with no teeth), counter wise to the engine
RPM.
I would assume this is fixed. Does anyone know what this value would be? Google didn't help much, but I did find this... Looking at the diagram it looks like 12* is the first dip? Yet it then says the trigger signal is at 15*? I'm lost... any input appreciated.

The primary trigger has 24 pulses per revolution where the falling edge of the trigger signal is at 15 deg intervals and the pulse length of the logical '0' is 12 or 3 degrees. As the pulse density is high and the difference is fairly large I think that we can detect this reliably even when cranking. The sync is possible in 90 deg.

Thanks!

This may help (attached).

1 revolution consists of 24 x 15° segments, each segment is split into 3°/12° high/low or low/high.

Moving out of the internal engine to injection.

While I'm not familiar with the control system, I had a look at the FT-350 installation manual. It appears to not be compatible with the GM 24x crank reluctor or coil near plug ignition for an eight cylinder engine.

Spoke to them friday after work briefly and they seem to think it is... It's also been completely wired to teh LS powered datsun I just bought. I was told the previous engine was running on it just fine.
