AN fittings for E85

Don't look at the brand, so much as the materials. Here's a good reference for materials that are/are not compatible: http://iqlearningsystems.com/ethanol...patibility.pdf
Aluminum and zinc would probably take several years to degrade with ethanol (compared to months with brass or rubber), so it's technically safe for a little while. I'd avoid it and stick with steel fittings, though.

5 years on regular braided and aluminum fittings here... go to yellow bullet, you'll see some guys on the same stuff as me for 15 years and zero issues. ... The fuel isn't a hair as corrosive as methanol, the 15 % gas keeps everything happy and lubricated. I'd try to avoid advice from anyone that hasn't ran the fuel cause usually there the first to say it's a horribly corrosive fuel and you need special everything to run the stuff.
The thing that can get you in trouble is storing it for long periods of time because it's susceptible to moisture which is what is bad. .. I drain my car every fall and put pump gas in the system .
Corn alcohol ftw!
