Inline Fuel Pumps and dual pumps.....

When running dual pumps in the situation of a 255lph intank pump and an external pump, how does this work, does the external pump plumb into the same fuel line for the feed? Wouldn't the intank pump limit the external pump?

There is realy no need to run an internal and an external. You are correct that the internal will limit the external. Either run 2 pumps in the tank t-together or a sumped race tank and a large external(the better way to go).

So, if you run an inline pump w/sump tank do you have to run a different fuel pressure regulator? or will the stock one be fine? I just ordered a Aeromotive inline pump and 20 gal. sump tank and was wanting to know. This is going on a stock c.i. motor w/ 125 TNT wet system. They say the pump will handle 700 hp with nitrous, blower, etc. at 30-65 psi.
