Engine bogging at High RPM

Default Engine bogging at High RPM

I have a 2000 SS camaro M6, and when I'm really wailing on it, when i shift from first to second, when i just let the clutch pedal go and back on the gas, it sounds like the motor hit a brick wall. I have found that if I shift at 4500-5000 rpms it's alright, but when i take it past that, motor "boggs" i guess you could say, like it's deprived of fuel. Do I have a fuel pump going? is it even a fuel problem? Maybe i'm over-reving, but with a stock rev limiter shouldn't i be able to bounce that motor off the rev limiter like it's, it's job and have no problems? please help, if you need any more info on what it's exactly doing ill let you know, thanks!!!!

I had this happen when I fouled my plugs once. Anything past 5500 was like it wasn't accelerating.

it's pretty much stock, it has 4.10 gear, air lid, and I have that Hypertech programmer, mostly because I wanted the spedo to be correct with the gears. I first thought that the problem was from the Programmer, either the "high performance" mode or the rev limiter change. So i first changed the rev limiter back, I thought it made a difference at first, but it didn't, it still did it, same thing with the performance mode with the programmer, I changed that back to stock and it still does it. The car has 52000 miles on it, I bought it with 49000 on it, and I know the kid that owned if before me beat the **** out of it. Think the spark plugs are bad? maybe this kid put some stupid plug in it, and maybe that's causing it. Regardless or anything, this winter I'm gettin this set up from GM with CNC'd heads, cam, intake, etc... that puts it at 460 horsepower. SO i guess Ill find out then if it was the valves floating or something, from over reving

Chnage the plugs and see what happens.
Check the wires.
