WHat style injector is prefered?
Use one that matches the height requirements for your intake/fuel rails
LS1/6 - LS2 - LS3/7/A/9 all use different height injectors
Beyond that match the connector type to your harness. LS1/6 injectors are usually EV1 style like basically all older injectors, TPI, LT1 etc. Aftermarket often have options of both EV1 and newer EV6 connectors. All newer injectors are EV6 connection
