Default Please help me with some e85 questions

Hey guys I'm considering going e85 on my new setup. Here is what I have. 5.3 with ls6 cam and ls6 intake. Master power 76mm with 1.0ar. I'm going to run between 15-18psi. Ptc converter and a turbo 400. I'm running a fast xfi and I have twin in tank 340s. I was going to do a pump gas meth injection setup but I'm considering e85. What do you guys think. What injectors would I need. I'm really torn on what to do.

I really like e85 for a lot of reasons. Particularly because it runs so cool. It is not a panacea for everything, and it's not like using a 105 octane gasoline. But in performance applications it is often better than gasoline. I don't know why more people don't use it.

You'll use about 20-25% more fuel. So you'll need injectors big enough to handle those flow requirements. There are a number of web sites that can help you determine exactly what you need.

Thank you for the reply? So you think twin 340s is enough for 650 whp? And I have - 8 feed and return lines. Other than the injectors is there anything else I would need to run e85?

That should be more than enough fuel flow; which is really what you want - more than enough. Make sure your entire fuel system can handle the flow, too.

Other than that, you're good to go.
