E85 conversion questions

Default E85 conversion questions

Ive got a Bone Stock 5.3 862 heads what will I need to convert to e85 clearly injectors pump and tune but what else? And what size injectors can I run? if I opt for 42lb injectors can they be used with the stock engine? Or will I need to wait till after my other mods Cam swap and bolt ons and 241s in the future.

You're going to want injectors that are E85 approved. I found that my Bosh 42's were not. When I tried E85 mine were at 85% with mods in signature

I like the late model, flex fuel, truck injectors that are around 50lb/hr. Unless you need something bigger of course. The lines should be fine, they started adding ethanol to fuel years ago, the OEMs had to make sure it wouldn't eat everything. Add a pump,(application dependant) and a tune and you're good to go.
