BGMZ28

First off, I did attempt a search. If I missed the answer to my question, please excuse me.

Now that that is out of the way, I have a 98 Z28 with a LS6 intake swap already completed with the stock 28lb injectors. I plan on purchasing a stock 2000 SS with the stock LS1 intake and the factory (for the year) 26lb injectors. I would like to simply swap the LS6 intake (with the 28lb injectors) off of my 98 and place this on the 2000. So my question is, would me putting the 28lb injectors on a stock tuned 2000 affect anything and vice versa with me putting the 26lb injectors on the 98 which also has the stock tune? I had a friend tell me that I may have to swap the regulator, is this correct?

Also, the 98 is a Auto and the 2000 is a M6, if that matters/affects anything?
