Ever since my Racetronix fuel pump died and was replaced I've been plagued by an electrical gremlin that doesn't go away. It's so random that I haven't been able to track it down or get close to the area to zero in on it.
It will randomly cut out, sometimes if I hit a bump, or if the road is wavy like when you go across a bridge BUT yet if I move the wires it won't cut out but when it does cut out I wiggle the wires (see pic below) and it comes back on or if it happens while in movement I can rock the car a little and 50/50 it comes back and I don't have to stop. It's worse when I start getting under 1/2 tank.
I thought it was a loose connection or ground and have pulled the pump several times and see nothing.
The arrow is where I jiggle the wire harness going into the tank. I've chased all of the wires and can't find any shorts, cuts or broken wires. I've even used a multi-meter to check for connectivity and if volts are proper. Both answers = yes.
I had the same problem, and it turned out to be the relay(s). The one under the drivers dead pedal and my racetronix hotwire relay both had loose pins so I had to tighten them up to make the issue stop.

All this time I thought it was in the fuel tank and it turn out it's was around the relay. I cleaned up the ground point and re-routed the harness so that it was closer to the body and zip tied it into place. Seems to be working for now.

What I will do after fixing mine is grabbing it and shaking to simulate vibration/bumps while driving to make sure it doesn't cut out on me again.
