Default injector sizing

So if I need 40lb injectors at 58 lbs of pressure and all I can come across are 40lb injectors at 43 lbs pressure, what does that do to the optimal duty cycle of 80%? I'm using the corvette style filter/regulator which is, correct me if I'm wrong, factory set at 58 lbs? If I have to go with the 43 lbs pressure injectors, can I just put a regulator in line up by the fuel rails? And would I have to reprogram the ECM to 43lbs? E67 ECM, 08 TBSS LS2.

.....

You don't have to run the injectors at 43 lbs. You can run them at 90 lbs if you want.
Its just the pressure that the flow was tested at. So they're 40 lbs at 43.5 PSI, 52 lbs at 58 PSI, etc..

Default injectors

so if I got injectors rated at 30lbs @ 43 psi, then run them with 58 psi, I should be good for 38-40 lbs? just don't want to keep sending injectors back or buying the wrong ones. thanks

Unless you never plan to mod for more power I would set yourself up with a little room to grow. As long as you have the right injector data in your tune you can run a slightly bigger injector. The 80% duty cycle is kind of the upper limit of where you would want to be anyhow. The closer to 100% you get on duty cycle the more problems you'll have with tuning and running. Not to mention the more risk you run of going lean.

As posted above you can run them at 58 psi. They will just flow more. Again, make sure you have the correct injector data in the tune.
