Default NNBS Intake

Saw a catherdral port NNBS intake for sale locally. What is NNBS? I know what TBSS is. I see those two terms grouped together often when I google it. Thanks.

Its basically the same intake as the TBSS. It stands for new new body style. In 15 years that will sound more ridiculous than it already does.

Ok, well the actual TBSS intake is a bad *****.. so are they basically the same or exactly the same? If they're "basically" the same I'll pass.

Pretty much the same. Difference between NNBS and NBS is that the NNBS is set up for a 90MM TB, same as the TBSS.

Yeah, on the basically the same. One of the car mags did a dyno comparison on factory LS intakes. TBSS was top dog, even over the famed LS6 when it came to horsepower with a truck intake coming in at number 3. The bigger TB would be cool, but I just dropped coin on a 78mm plate from Nitrous Express. Sprayed a 250 shot last weekend and it was KICK ***!!

OK, so you should not buy a TBSS intake or a NNBS intake since they are set up for 90MM TBs.
Unless you want to upgrade your plate to a 90MM plate and also buy a new TB.
