Fuel pressure questions

Fuel pressure questions Currently have my fuel pressure gauge tied into my fuel rail. I know 58 psi is stock pressure, when I start my car it hovers pretty close to that.. as the car warms up it slowly drops to around 54 and at WOT stays pretty steady at 50.. I am assuming my 129k fuel pump is getting weak.. I changed my filter and did not make a difference. My question is, how much could this be effecting my performance at WOT? (It doesn't feel sluggish or anything)
I plan on installing a racetronix with a hot wire kit.. being I have a mail order tune I should be able to slap the new assembly in and keep my tune the same correct? I figured even if pressure is over 58 the fuel pressure regulator should keep it within spec right?
I appreciate any input! curious to see if this is normal or if I'm missing something.. also interested to hear what I should expect after changing the fuel pump.

My Racetronix 255 pump and hotwire kit does the exact same thing as your pump, but the a/f is great and it shows no signs of anything bad. Doesn't affect the performance one bit

Ok that makes me feel better. I plan on doing some 243/799 heads and a cam in the future so maybe I'll do the pump then.. I got a pretty decent deal on one today so I'll consider it one less thing I need to buy when it comes time lol.
I was searching and getting mixed results.. is it from tieing into the fuel rail that we see the drops like that?
