Default Problems with 42lb injectors/ fit ls6 intake?

Well I have a set of Lucas 42lb injectors (black with a bright green ring at the top). I go to put them in the ls6 intake (intake off the car) and they slid in a little ways then stop, the injectors are loose and can move around a lot. I flip the intake over and see that there is a little lip in the injector hole that seems to stop the injector form going in all the way. I dont want to force the injector in and brake the intake. Anyone ever have this problem before, I thought these injectors would fit, or do I need to put some muscle into this here? any help would be great, thanks, Chris

Oh oh... I just bought those same injectors, but I haven't tried fitting them yet. Can anyone answer this question?

Its not an issue, Put the injectors into the fuel rails then slide the entire fuel rail into place with the manifold. The rails maintain the alignment.
