Default Fuel pressure question

So I have the squash fuel pump system, Holley fuel rails, aeromotive boost regulator. When I turn the key on watching my fuel pressure gauge it goes to 60 and slowly falls to zero . Shouldn't it hold some kind of pressure ? When the car is on the fuel pressure is good just wondering if this is normal, or if the boost regulator is bad. I have to turn the key to the on position for 3 seconds. Then turn it over to start thanks guys.

I am dealing with the same issue on my Racetronix setup.

I was told to check:

Fuel tube not sealing or compromised
Regulator leaking down
Fuel injector leaking down
Fuel pump check-valve leaking down

In my case it appears to be the check-valve in pump as everything else checks out okay.

Aeromotive regulators bleed pressure like. They don't hold constant pressure once the pumps are off. This is extremely common.

Ok so its something that i shouldn't worry about then? I thought if the key is on and car not running it should hold some kind of pressure.

No. This is how the Aeromotives work.
