Default Cleaning Injectors While Out

I am putting a LS6 in my 2000 5.3 Silverado. The original engine still runs fine and I think I am going to reuse the factory intake instead of an LS6 manifold. I'd like to clean the injectors while they are out. Any tips on doing this? I saw one thread where a guy said to boil them in water. Has anybody done this?

Do yourself a favor. Don't listen to that bs.
Send them to a shop that can clean/flow test them, w/ the proper equipment.
