Default Fuel pump

Hey guys. This is my first time writing on a forum. I have a 1998 z28. I just changed the fuel pump today and after I replaced the fuel pump by dropping the tank. I went to go fill the tank up and I notice that the auto stop on the gas station nozzle was not clicking and I already had 3 gallons in the tank prior to going to the gas station and at the gas station the meter was showing 14 gallons and not stopping and I noticed the fuel was leaking from the sides of the tank. I Know the gas station nozzle work because I go there every time I fill up and it always stops by it's self. I'm wondering if it's something I did when putting everything back together? Is the a way I could've miss routed the lines or anything?? Any help would be appreciated
