Default 6.0 startup

I am going to start a stock 6.0 with 40k miles +- that has been sitting for 3 yrs or so and I'm wondering about the injectors being dried up.
What other precautions should I take to help with damage to the internals when I try to crank up. I am pumping oil through with an external pump.

You've taken care of the most critical item; oiling. Nothing mechanical should go wrong now, at least if it IS in good shape. Can't help you on the fuel-related stuff.
