If you changed pump and filter, plus injectors and regulator so you could make the injectors exactly the right amount larger (everyone says 30%). Could he leave the tune stock and tune it in with the correct fuel pressure to increase the amount of fuel the right amount with the same signals to the injectors? Just a thought.
The LS1 is not set up for E85. You need a Flex Fuel sensor and injectors, along with programming in the ECM.
LS1Tech does not give opinions, the people posting on there do.

So the Stoich at 9.7, bigger injectors, pump etc it's a dumb thing?
The fuel flex sensor can only be used on +2003 PCM right?
Sorry, I was thinking of E85 as we run it from the drum usually. I've only one used it at the pump in a rental, so yeah you would have to test the fuel and adjust pressure based on the percent. i still think with enough time and effort it could be a cheap way to save some money for some people.
Hi! Sorry I didn't was here for a while.
All gasoline engine can run on E85 , I have just to find a way to give it 30% more fuel. In reality you need a few more "adjustments" to be perfect.
This is a cheap or a wild way to run en E85..
Well my Camaro is running good with ethanol, I checked the emission controls and warm engine @2000 it's not bad.
But cold engine it's to rich. I can smell it
