Question Maintaining Fuel Pressure Before Startup?

I just replaced the pumps on my car with another pair of Warlboros. If you look in the video, after turning key-on/ignition-off, the fuel pressure jumps to the right amount, but then it fades off. Is this normal? I'm having a brain fart as to whether it should stay pegged at around 40PSI until I turn the key. After the car is started, pressure maintains. Revving while in park there's no dip either. Is there a a leak somewhere, or is that how it's supposed to be?

Depends on the setup. Stock pumps generally hold pressure for days, and my single walbro 255 seem to also. My new setup with dual 450s and aeromotive regulator bleeds back almost immediately which aeromotive said was normal for that style regulator.

It's a Racetronix/Lonnies performance dual in-tank Warlboro setup with a stock regulator. I think the regulator is stock. Damn, it's been awhile since the turbo was put in. haha

I will add, when I had a pressure drain back issue on my yukon, it caused hard starting due to pressure loss when the pump cycled. I ended up replacing the pump assembly. When the camaro bleeds back down, no starting issues. I guess different setups cause different problems.

Yeah, she starts up fine. I'm just worried about really putting it under load if there is something lurking.

Lonnie, I'll give you a quick ring tomorrow. 👍
