Hot wire kit
I can't find my post, but have always been under the impression that the kit came with the hot wire kit and that I would NOT have to order a hot wire kit to maximize the fuel pump capacity because Racetronix replied that I would not.
However, have also reads post recent to my purchase in 2004 that I don't have the hot wire kit and that I will have to order it and replace some of the wiring in the original 1998 Racetronix fuel pump kit.
So what do I actually have or not have?
Since I am borderline rwhp, cost wise am considering a Kennebell boost a pump in lieu of a double pumper kit from Lonnies.
But a boost a pump requires a hot wire kit, if I don't have it already it, and also the addition of the connection to connect the boost a pump, which I am not sure actually came with the 2004 kit version that I have.
Anybody know? That's a long time ago. Am sure things have changed a bit since 2004.
Or just start over with a complete new 1998 kit with KenneBell boost a pump? If I do that then do I still have to get a hot wire kit plus the optional boost a pump connector?
Perhaps Lonnies, or the WS6 store can chime in since that's who I will buy from. Understandably so, it is hard to get thru on the phone to speak to either vendor.
Update: according to Lonnie's Performance since I bought the entire kit, it includes the same wiring and connectors as a hot wire kit and it also includes the extension for a boost a pump connection.
Since talking to Lonnie's Performance will be upgrading to his Fbody 1998 dual in tank setup rather than installing a boost a pump. For the time being won't be needing the upgraded lines kit etc since my goal is just to be completely safe at 575 - 650 rwhp.
