Default Dual Walbro 450 bucket

I'm working on doing the dual 450's in my stock bucket right now (06 GTO). My system is already the lonnies double pumper so the bucket is modified to fit the dual walbro 255's. That system T's both pumps into the stock feed in tank then feeds a -8 line. I see most guys doing the bucket modifying and having the 450's feed through the hat instead of through the tank. My question is, will my set up be fine if I just replace the 255's with the 450's and feed it through the in tank line? I could be wrong but I believe that's how it works. Worries me that the short amount of line in tank that's -6 will choke the fuel system too much. The car will be on E85. Some pictures for reference (not the greatest but hopefully you get the idea).

I feel like that's definitely going to choke down those dual 450's. Hell that would probably choke a single 450. That'll probably bump your base pressure from 58 to around 70 or so at idle when your fuel demand is low. Are you doing a return style system? Those 450's are probably going to get pretty toasty if they have to dead head to the stock rails without being able to relieve any of the excess fuel like the stock regulator does in tank.

Yeah I already have a return style system. It's the lonnies double pumper. But yeah what you said was my concern about base pressure. I went ahead and ordered the fittings, bulkhead and everything to have the feed line through the hat instead like everyone else is doing it. I knew the answer but it was one of those things I just had to ask to confirm. lol

I'm getting ready to do the same. Do you mind sharing which fittings and bulkhead you bought? I'm only concerned with how you are getting it through the hat.

I'll send you a private message with all the fittings I ordered. I already had a return style system keep in mind so I didn't have to order the return bulkhead and all that.
