Default Will it make it or not

Hey guys I'm getting ready to take my car to the tuner and am having an issue on straight answer and or solution. Both sides have a point but I don't want to upgrade if not needed and i don't want to fall short having to upgrade and retune later. I have 255's, 1000cc injectors (friend said would swap me his new set of fic 127lb if would make a difference), -8 supply, -6 return, whole kit. Goal of 850-900whp on 93+meth

Thanks for your opinions

Squash quote:
"Nothing is absolute, but you'll be close to OK with the twin 255's if you run that much meth and go for 900rwhp on 93..."
Lonnies quote:
"Your 1000cc injectors & my dual 255’s should be good for atleast 1000rwhp.
I do not recommend 340lph pumps, but can use 450’s instead. My pumps have done closer to 1100rwhp & I’ve seen 1070 on the 1000cc."
Tuner quote:
"For 1000 crank forced induction horsepower, we need a pump(s) that can supply 420L/HR at 60 PSI if using 40 PSI base and 20 PSI boost pressure or 420 L/HR at 78 PSI if using stock 58 PSI base and 20 PSI boost (boost is just a guess).
Twin 255's will support 400 L/PH at 60 PSI or 325 L/HR at 78 PSI. See attached chart. I thought you said they were twin 255's, but I could be wrong. I like to leave 30% headroom on the pump also.
Also, to support 1000 Crank horsepower, we would need an injector that flows 96 L/HR at 85% duty cycle.
Injectors rated at 80 # at 43 PSI will support around 800 CRANK horsepower. If they are rated 80 @ 58 PSI they will support around 950 CRANK horsepower at 85% duty cycle."
Julio from Alky says the dual nozzle with make up roughly 20% of the fuel being injected fwiw.

Nice info, but all of that is completely irrelevant if your goal is 400 HP.

You might want to start off with what you're actually trying to do.

Of course after trying to add everything I forget to put the goal ha. Edited. Honestly 800-900whp is the range I want to be in, not less, not more.

A single aeromotive stealth can support 700BHP forced inducted using a 3/8" fuel line

https://www.aeromotiveinc.com/tech-h...th-fuel-pumps/

If I was sitting at 700 wanting 750-800 I would lean on the meth a little. Its cheap and easy to plumb up to 700 this way.

Taking that small step from 800 to 801 though, that can be tough. You might as well be shooting for 1200bhp if you are going to go through all that trouble of upgrading pumps/line diameters for 1 more horsepower.
