Default Return system on my c10

Hi guys! I'm new here so pardon me if I commit some type of sin! But I jus finished getting a lq4 and 4l80e swapped into my 87 chevy and I was wondering about the return system for my fuel. Can I just tee into the suction line on my pump and return that way or will my gas get to hot and will my pump not handle it? For a pump I'm running a inline Bosch 044.. I can just return to my tank but that means I have to drop my tank and I have fuel tanks so then I have to have a valve that will switch between tanks so I thought if I could jus do it this way that would be the easiest... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can get selector valves that handle both feed and return fuel. You can tap into the fill tube to return fuel.

I thought the 87 c10 was originally fuel injected. I swapped a 85 c10 tht had dual saddle tanks.

i installed the pump inline after the selector valve. I thin added return into the return line before the valve. So it feeds and returns fuel to each tank being used. I just take the vent line and leave it original or loop it 2 times and add a small filter.

Ya mine was originally fuel injected and then I went to carburated... And pulling fuel through the original valve didnt work it wud suck air so I changed the valve to like a 85 C10 style Wich doesn't have the return option... now I wish I had my old valve. I'll have to see if I can find one of those valves..
