Default Runs great till shut off and start it back up

I can drive Any where then when I shut off at store run in and back out it will start up but then when I try to accelerate it will act as if its not getting fuel. If I let it sit for about an hour it will start and run with no issue. Thinking its fuel pump regulator or a vacuum leak any help would be greatly appreciated

that sounds like an old school vapor lock issue. You can easily test a fuel pressure regulator with a fuel pressure gauge but If the diaphragm is torn, then its torn and heat shouldnt make a difference. However if something is going on with the pump, heat could be a factor. Cold pump - good pressure, hot pump- low pressure.

I think you're on the right track. Get a fuel pressure gauge from an auto parts store and recreate the situation.
