Ok I am switching from a 1250cfm blowthru carb to efi am asking for help with selecting injectors for the build I am building this for the street but mostly strip , feel free to ask any other questions. any help would be grateful.
7:1 compression, china fabricated intake, rectangle ports, LS9 cam. That thing will make 4-cylinder torque figures out of boost (not exaggerating, those are 4 major strikes against you). You may have very well built the lowest torque LS engine anyone has done on purpose.
That being said, injector size will depend on power goals.
Joe nova: I’m gonna tel you that torq is not an issue cause other than the intake this whole build has been a good reliable set up for the strip. The only thing I am changing is going from blowthru to efi. I have been running the set up for over 6 years and have not had to replace anything, and on the carb it was putting down over 800hp but I dialed it to run 9.0’s here is a pic to shown that torq is not an issue.
If youre still in the market for fuel injectors or have any questions, please feel free to send me an email Justin@Ausinjection.com . we would love to help with your setup
