Default Fuel Tank Vent Question

I have a stock 95 metal LT1 fuel tank, with a sumped magnafuel 4301 and while redoing my fuel lines (going from stock to 8an) I read that I should have at least a 8an vent to the tank. While I was using pump to drain tank, I heard the tank suck in on itself so thats prob not a good sign.

What have folks done to properly vent their stock tanks?

No can do, intake manifold has no provisions for it, and or, computer won't run it.

I bought a 10an roll over valve/vent last light and will be installing that.
