Used Injectors not Seating Properly
Used Injectors not Seating Properly Short question: what measurements can I take on an injector to know whether it will seat properly in my ls6 intake?
Longer version: I have a set of used Deatschwerks 85lb injectors that are providing difficult to get fully seated in my LS6 intake manifold. They definitely did not fit with their original o-rings, so I swapped my stock LS1 o-rings onto them.
Then, I had to take the intake manifold off the car to get them fully pushed in with some serious motivation. Then after a couple start-ups (no driving, just start & idle), one of them was leaking fuel.
Problem is I don't know exactly what engine these injectors came off of, I bought them off this forum a while ago. Is there any measurement I can take to know for certain whether these are going to work?
