I have a 2000 Firebird T/A auto, went force induction and purchased the Racetronix f99 pump and hot wire full kit in 2014.
This is a summer only car and when running drove fine.
Had problems recently with after driving the car and turning it off, sometimes it would not restart for 30-40 mins.
I found the problem today and wanted to share.
The hot wire relay and plug are fried on the positive wire, has anyone else had this experience?
Hard to say. Loose connection. Plugged fuel filter causing high amp draw. Something caused that heat. Even a relay with beat up contacts in it can create a lot of heat.
