L96 flex fuel sensor Doing a swap in my nova with the l96. Someone has me questioning my knowledge (which is not a lot), but do the injectors act as the flex fuel sensor or is there one back near the tank?

Pretty sure it uses the "virtual sensor" which is an algorithm based on fuel trims to estimate the alcohol content. It only calculates when it detects the fuel level has changed by 3 gallons or more and some miles of driving, so you need to be careful you don't tank up on E85 and then do a re-flash. Really annoying they did it that way, instead of an actual sensor, but I'm guessing it was a cost-saving idea. I'm sure there's a way to go in an disable that feature, which I'd do if it were my swap.
