What will a Walbro 525 Pump support ?

Default What will a Walbro 525 Pump support ?
Trying to understand what will a Walbro 525 pump support. Lets assume the rest of the fuel system is -8 lines, adjustable regulator at the rails, and proper injectors.

Some specs are listed as flowing 104 gal/hr at 65psi, 13.5v
This article lists the pump as flowing 405 L/hr at 65psi or 419L/hr at 60psi - 13.5v. It also estimates 808 fwhp on E85

Now add a boost-a-pump to the mix, say increase to 17.5v or 20v ? Could this potentially support 1000 hp on E85 if the article above is true?
What are people using for converting flow rates to hp?
What are others experiencing?

I didn't think there was much real world data that showed the 525 supported much more power than a 450, but I haven't used a 525 yet.

Many places have flow tested one. It's about 10% more than a 450 for a given pressure etc. They even have flow info on Walbro site. So it just comes down to fuel type, BSFC and fuel pressure.

That's a nice calculator. Looks like I would need at least 461 L/hr at 60psi to reach about 900 hp. This is an increase from 419 L/hr. Which is about a 10% increase needed via a boost-a-pump, or 15% increase at 65psi.

I was going to do a 525 for simplicity. I called walbro the other day and he told me about 900flywheel in pump gas. That’s calculated on a rich mixture. Supposedly (I read but haven’t seen the video myself) that Matt (sloppy mechanics) made around 800 wheel on a 450. I didn’t end up doing that because summit was gonna be two weeks getting me one and I need it for tomorrow. I’m doing a pair of aeromotive 340’s instead. At least I’ll have some room to grow.

I maxed mine out at 660 wheel . -8 lines, good regulator. e85. good power source. etc. about the same as a 450.

Add 30% to that . Is the standard I think .?

anyone know where I can get a walbro 525 for a decent price, quickly? I want the f9000285 version with the check valve.

Stock feed on tank adapted to a -8 Amazon Chinese rails. Deka 80s . It was return style. I hit the back of both rails with -8 and then hit the regulator on both sides.
