I purchased this 99 Z28 in October of last year, and have been driving it until recently when I noticed it doesn't have a gas pedal foot plate. I'm telling you all this shamefully, but believe it or not, I simply never noticed until I was down there looking around for something else. I don't know how to heel-toe, but my other car that's a standard does not have an adequate set up for it so I never learned, therefore it's not really been a "problem" until now when I want to learn how to heel-toe and do some more aggressive driving. Please see attached picture. Note, there is a hole through the lever, wondering if I could possibly just put on a new plate without crank.
I was wondering what my options are for replacement. Ideally I'd like to just swap out the lever with a new lever / pedal assembly, but am not sure what my options are. Summit didn't come up with anything unless I want to do an exchange of the assembly of all 3 pedals. Any thoughts? Maybe someone here has a pedal to sell me? Any general recommendations? Maybe it's an opportune time to upgrade.
