Racetronix Fuel Pump Got a racetronix fuel pump and hot wire harness for my 2002 Trans Am. Thinking of returning to Texas Performance. The directions suck. No where does it show or tell you how to swap the 3 prong bulkhead connector to a 4 prong. This was suppose to be plug and play. Called Texas Speed, they said connect Racetronix. Racetronix doesn’t return e-mails or answer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I will assume the 3 prong bulkhead you are talking about is actually the tank pressure sensor.
1. Factory 99-02 fbodys came with a 4 square plug. It is weak and known to melt.
2. They updated them in the late 2000s to the flat style. Any replacement pump now has the flat 4 style.
3. The new flat style bulkhead replaces the 4 square bulkhead.
4. There is a small tab inside the under part of the fuel hat that has to be pushed in then pull up on the old flat 4 bulkhead it will come out
5. Apply lube to the new o ring and install new bulkhead. You should hear the tab click
Thats it. I can provide pictures in a little bit if necessary but only of the new flat style bulkhead. We dont have any of the older 4 square parts.

Thank you so much for the help! I did install the new 4 pin flat bulkhead connector. Im assuming the old three prong bulkhead connector for the outside sensor is not used and the car harness plug for that connector plugs into the new Hot wire Harness.
