Fuel injector and fuel pressure.
The internal workings of a fuel injector escape me. Is it possible for too much fuel pressure to overcome the injectors and deliver too much fuel? If it is possible, how much pressure would it take? Currently running an LS6 intake and injectors and a Corvette style filter with a built in regulator. It smells gassier than a line of construction workers at a burrito truck.
It’s very possible you have a leaky injector. But to answer your original question - no, you’re not gonna get an injector to open with too much pressure. At least not any amount of pressure a fuel pump can deliver.
Oh, and by leaky injector, I mean one that isn’t closing properly, not one that is leaking outside the system.

Remove the fuel rail with the lines still connected and injectors still clipped in. Unplug injectors. Connect fuel pressure gauge to test port. Cycle the fuel pump and see if anything leaks out of the injectors.
Injectors are not poppet valves, more pressure will push the pintle closed harder, not push it open. The symptom from too much pressure will be that at some point the solenoid will not be able to lift the pintle against the fuel pressure and you get no fuel at all.
