Fueling Suggestions for P1SC-1 LS1 Install
Hi All,
So many options, so many opinions.. I'm confused on what will be the best fuel setup for my upcoming P1SC-1 procharger install.
Stats:
02 WS6 - A4
Stock Bottom End - 106K Miles
Hotcam
Longtubes
3.73's in crappy 10 Bolt
Intake Manifold and CAI
2800 Stall and built 4l60e
I am installing my P1SC-1 kit soon and am wondering suggestions for fuel. I have been pointed to lonnie's by some and I know he provides a great setup but a few local shops I've spoken to are saying that the double pumper kit is not sufficient. I've been told that I will need to upgrade rails, better lines, external pressure regulator etc. Is this the case? Or can I install the double pumper kit + 60-80 LB injectors and call it a day?
If it was your setup what would you do?
I'm not opposed to spending more and doing the whole setup but if it's not needed for 550-600 HP (if I'm lucky to put down that much) then what's the point? They did mention that the factory rails and regulator couldn't handle the additional pressure.. True?
Really would love a ready to install setup that's not a pain to put together as I'll be doing this on my own. The idea of dropping in the double pumper kit and running some wiring is attractive from a simplicity perspective but if it's not going to reliably support what I'm doing or there are downsides I need to be aware of would love to know in advance!
Thanks!

Ran Racetronix 255 with hotwire kit with my d1x and 80lb GAS setup. Ran perfectly fine with no fueling issues at 575rwhp. Stock rails will work just fine. I did change over to aftermarket fuel pressure regulator though.
That being said with my new motor setup I am going with a dual pump setup.

I think Lonnies Double Pumper and injectors should suffice..
