Default Bad fuel pump replaced no start

Not exactly new to the forum decide to get off the sidelines. I have a 2001 Camaro SS, I parked at three years ago and now a year after I parked it I tried to start it and nothing. Turned on the ignition and didn’t hear fuel pump so I drop the tank and switched out the fuel pump (just the pump not the whole sending unit) didn’t pay attention to where the fuel lines went so I had to go look through the sea of crap on Google. So I hooked the plastic line that comes off of the fuel filter as the feed, vent was obvious and return line comes out of the T before the fuel filter is that correct? I also change the fuel filter. Now I can hear the audible pump prime for two seconds and shut off but when I go to start it, The engine cranks fine with a small chug, I have nitrous fuel rail pressure safety switch on it, cracked a filling and plenty of fuel came out. Prime the engine through the intake with a very rough sputter blowing smoke but keep in mind been sitting for five years now. So another forums to check fuel lines for cracks(lines are very new looking and pliable) fittings for security and maybe the fuel pressure regulator is bad?I think I have a fuel pressure gauge somewhere don’t know what pressure is, but there is pressure, I’m pissed off about it going to bed hoping I don’t have to drop that damn tank(although I feel it was faster than a access) again and you guys have some other ideas? Thanks Ps I have a aftermarket remote starter that all of the sudden stopped working.. could be the problem?

Sitting for 5 year, it's possible the injectors are stuck...

I got it fired up. Took a cup or so of bad gas out of the fuel lines, and it still ran like crap for a bit, but now it’s starts first crank like usual. If the injectors were stuck, they’re not now..
