need some advice on fuel pump selection. Setup and goals.
forged 370, fic 1650s, ethanol mix(likely will never go for straight e85)
want the fuel system to be good above 1000hp.
Im stuck on deciding which fuel pump to choose between Holley and Aeromotive brushless. Both brands offer more flow when wiring in a relay and switch to run at full tilt and for cruising can be dialed down to keep the fuel from recirculating as much. The aeromotive 5.0gpm looks to be the one that would serve me well for a long time, but the holley is a little cheaper and not sure on the amperage draw at full load. I would like to keep the voltage at 13.8.
Previous setup was twin walbros, but I dont like the idea of 2 seperated pumps and the flow starts to drop off considerably at higher pressures.
