Battery Pole Size

The battery in your car has TWO "poles", the larger one is B+.
Wire that one AFTER disconnecting the original feed to the injectors

battery posts? Aren’t they just positive and negative ?

so what your telling me is to jump a wire from a 12v source to my fuel injectors to bypass the original shorted wire

The injectors are actuated by switching the GROUNDS, so a live 12V won't hurt it.

No. The ECU switches them to ground to fire. You take the ECU 12v away and use your new 12v from the battery.

Where are you measuring 6 volts? If you want help, it's better if you're specific.

Are you measuring it at the 12 V feed lines?
Are you measuring it across the injectors?
Is the car running?
Are you using a voltmeter or a scope?
All these things make a huge difference.
