2000 TA Stock Injector Replacement Source
I have a 2000 TA 5.7 A4, car sat for 7 years and Im having to rebuild the fuel system. I tested the original injectors and they are leaking. I found significant rust in the steel fuel lines and Im suspecting the injectors have rust internally. Can someone point me to original replacememt injectors?
I saw some replacements at rockauto but I'm not familiar with any of the brands they have listed. I dont want to loose an engine over bad/cheap injectors.
Car is 100% stock except for an air lid. I'm not planning any big modifications, maybe intake /headers/torque converter sometime in the future.

Rock Auto is usually pretty dependable, plus they usually have 2 or 3 product lines for many of their parts, in this case Ultrapower and Standard Motor Products (very well known), at about $50 and $77 respectively. These are new, they also have reman units for about $37 from 2 sources.
I have had good luck with them on the various parts I have bought over the past couple years.

I've bought injectors from Rock Auto, given it was for a 98 Sunfire, and they were garbage.( I can't remember what brand, they weren't AC Delco or Delphi) My STFT went to -25 instantly. I had the stock injectors cleaned/rebuilt, put them back in. Fuel trims were perfect.
Injectors is one of those things that has to be right.
I'd consider having them sonic cleaned/rebuilt, buy OEM replacements or from a known good aftermarket supplier.
