LS Swap Fuel System Help
Street/strip 1986 GMC C1500, swapping in an LQ4 with upgrades, expecting near 500hp. I do plan to go turbo in a year or two and aim for 750-800hp. Also I'm replacing the tank with a new baffled one from Tanks Inc. I haven't bought anything else for the fuel system yet.
- Can I plan for the turbos now and get a badass pump and go -10AN lines, filters, reg? Will I risk over-circulating and returning too much fuel until I get the turbos installed?
- If I use an intank pump like the GPA-6, is the 1/4 NPT outlet fitting an issue? I'm worried that's way too small for the power and -10 lines.
- Do I need anything special in the tank other than a pickup tube if I went with an inline pump instead? Sockless tube with a 100 micron filter before pump sufficient?
