Help With 03 ls1 So I have a 03 with the 5.3. It’s pretty much stock, I have headers with an exhaust and a cold air intake. The problem I keep having and have had for over a year is with it when it idles and gets into 2,000-3,000rpm in 2nd gear. When it is at Idle sometimes it can sound like it has a cam where the rpm’s are clearly not where they should be. This only happens every so often. But every time in 2nd at 2-3k it will sputter and has no power, I’ve also noticed a power loss from 0mph when accelerating. I have new MAF, MAP, o2s, and throttle body. So I am very lost as to what my issue is. The exhaust does have a cat, it’s the flow master high flow truck cat. Not thinking it’s anything with the exhaust though I could be wrong. I read on here that someone had a similar issue and unplugged the MAF sensor and fixed the issue. I did this too and fixed the issue. That is when I went and replaced it but even after the replacement from Advanced Auto, I still have the problem. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.
