Fuel Tank Removal Sorry, I know this must have been asked many times, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm upgrading my pump (again) and I can't bring myself to cut into the sheetmetal to access the fuel pump. I replaced the pump 2 years ago while I had the rear end off the car. My fbody is a 2001 with the plastic tank.
Can I remove the fuel tank with the rear end hanging? I can remove the shock bolts for more clearance.
