Do I need to run corvette filter/regulator
You'll get the flow rate to engine with both Camaro and Corvette filter. Testing by Lingenfelter shows both are same with excessive pressure drop beginning at 270 L/hr. If one is too small for your engine then they're both too small.
The stock Camaro setup also will have adequate flow rate back to tank with the 255 L/hr, no issues there. (If it doesn't then what happens is pressure goes high at low engine loads because the system can't return enough fuel back to tank to regulate.)
So the only thing left is whether the Corvette would help pressure regulation. My personal experience with high-speed data logging in my ECU is the Corvette is worse. And most brands are total junk and have to be avoided. Overall those Corvette filters are a real POS and very inconsistent.
I would keep it simple and stick with what you have. I think you'll be fine at 255 L/hr. If you find that you want improved pressure regulation then skip over the Corvette and go to a regulator at fuel rail with a full return system.

If the engine exceeds the pump or filter then you'll see pressure glide downward as engine goes up in RPM. If engine exceeds by a lot then there will be an instant drop of pressure at WOT and pressure will glide down from there.
