Current Recommendations for LS2 Throttle Body Porting Service Hi all,
I'm upgrading my Corvette C5 LS1 with a H/C and would like to have a LS2 throttle body ported by a reputable shop. I've searched around and found that some of the recommended shops from over the years are either no longer around or in the case of one shop, away for a a couple of weeks. The intent is to ship the TB to the shop, for them to perform the work and ship the finished TB back to me. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a shop currently performing this type of work? Thanks for your consideration and feedback.

Hey 84ta406, thanks for mentioning Tony Mamo, I have heard nothing but great things about the work he does. I had already sent a LS2 TB I purchased on the CF to another vendor, but I checked the Mamo Motorsports site and they were offering a reconditioned ported LS2 TB that included painting, etc. for $700 with a $400 core charge, so net $300 for those with a TB in hand. Seems like a great deal to me and I would have no doubt in the quality of the product. No affiliation, just an opinion based on what seems to be the general consensus. As I mentioned, I already went a different route and will update again here once I receive the TB after the work is complete (just got notification it shipped today).
Hey NicD, thanks for the reply. I hear what you are saying. I already sent away the TB to be worked on and it's part of a bigger upgrade to a LS1 that includes a ported and polished 243 head, stage 3 cam and a LS6 intake with LS2 upgrade by TPiS. Not sure if that would change your recommendation any, but I'm down the road now. Thanks again for the reply.
