Where to put MAF sensor
Hello, I just bought a Holley 130-137 aluminum mid rise EFI intake for my 6.0 that I'm building. This intake has a standard 4150 carb mounting flange. I have an adapter to run a factory 87mm four bolt throttle body on top that takes a standard 14" old school air cleaner assembly. The adapter has provision at the base for the MAP and IAT sensors but I'm trying to figure out where to put the MAF sensor. I see on forums that it's supposed to be a few inches from the throttle body but I don't have an intake tube with this air cleaner. I didn't think anything about this before I decided to go this route. I'm going to run Holley Terminator X Max if that matters. I have seen this set up on the internet but there's no details. I appreciate any help on this, thank you.
Terminator.. Read the manuals all of them,,, did I mention ALL of them? its not complicated but refusing to read the instructions on one is just asking for a technical butt kicking. There are some minor mis prints but if you read all the manuals, I think 3 for the base kit you'll likely breeze through.
Mine literally started a stock L33 with truck manifold the first crank. Brand new engine. Immediately settled i at about 900RPM then tapered off and ran.
I figured out he instructions after starting with the basic wiring it up book. Turns out there is some cool features and such in the actual full Terminator manual
The holley forum is very good ..

I'd venture to say 95% of the problems people have with the Terminator(or any Holley EFI)is they don't read and follow the instructions. Holley has some of the best manuals out there.
That comment wasn't directed at anyone. But read your manuals peoples!

Real men don't need instructions. They learn everything the hard way by trial and error.
