Default Considering going to e-85

….hi all, I have a ‘73 c/10 swb fleet that has a 4.8 with 220/220 cam and a vortech v-3sci supercharger….i never understood why vortech mounts the air filters right on the head unit right above the headers, with that being said the IAT’s are a bit higher than id like to see them, so i made a custom cold air intake system that mounts the air filter right next to the battery and catches cold air from a charge coming head on at the core support, i drilled a 5” hole in the support and mounted the air filter inside a bucket (pitcher) right inline with the intake charge hole on the core support….with that i noticed a diffrence of a 40* drop, i will post a pic below so you can get a better idea…..with all that being said id rather not hassle with an intercooler setup and from what ive researched an innercooler isnt really nessicarry when running E-85 on boost no higher than 15psi, is this true?…….so my question(s) are what all do i need to make this run on e-85, im not going for max effort, its just a cruiser with a little extra power on demand if need be, i plan on taking the 370” LQ9 out of my LSA supercharged nova when the 408” is done being built for it…but in the mean time this lil boosted 4.8 is standing its ground quite well might I add, FWIW this is a terminator X controlled truck and im running an aeromotive 340 pump and stock GM LSA injectors (from nova build), are the LSA injectors ok for E-85? Also i have an EFI tank out of an ‘87 c/10 that came factory with efi, would that tank work with E-85 or do i need a plastic tank? Will the factory fuel hardlines work? Or do i have to run new PTFE lines all the way front to back on both return and feed?….my 10 micron fuel filter is ok for E-85 so im good there but id have to get a new e-85 friendly regulator seeing as how im using the factory truck regulator that is mounted in the return style fuel rail, and id also run a car LS2 style intake that has the stainless factory fuel rail…..i would probably pick up one of those sloppy mechanics E-85 plug and play harness’s for the terminator X, and a factory style GM (continental) style flex fuel sensor to go with it….and then at the end i would have Trevor at TCTuned do his magic and make it all happy together….please let me know what im forgetting, i think one of my main concerns is if this factory fuel tank would work, granted it is brand new, id really hate to have to replace it with sonething diffrent, also if this works out id like to do the same thing to my LSA nova which has a brand new holley efi tank (metal) as well….. please let me know what im forgetting or what will or will not work, thank you in advance…..
