I have a 91 firebird that I plan on swapping a lm7 truck engine into with a t56. I have 706 cathedral port heads with a stock intake and I plan on getting a basic engine rebuild kit and a stage 2 cam kit. Will my stock injectors handle those modifications and if I decide to do more in the future how much hp could the stock handle.
They're only about 24.5 lb.hr. injectors, so you'll be close to max capacity with a cam upgrade. There are other factory injectors you can use, but you have to get adapters to use them because the connectors are different. Look at this guide to see where you can source larger injectors: https://www.wiringspecialties.com/ls...%2058%20psi%2C
I am not sure what an LM7 is but if you need new GM injectors, go to ebay and look up 12613412. They are GM 51# injectors and you can get the data on HPTuners or PM me and I will send it to you. These are for a L96---not sure what fuel rails taht you have with that setup, but see if they will work. At 55$ a set, it's hard to go wrong.
I wouldn't trust anything from eBay anymore. You can get used GM LS3/LS7 injectors for $100-125 shipped if you look around on the forums and FB marketplace (42lb/hr). With adapters you can make them work. Back in the day I used Ford Red Top injectors (30lb) in my LS1 with AFR heads/233/239 cam, LS6 intake manifold (made 440rwhp).
