Fuel Pressure Regulator
I'm fixing to finally drop my 408 into my Trans Am and I'm looking into a fuel pump and regulator setup. I plan on running the Racetronix 340lph kit since it seems to be the simplest kit for 98. What fuel pressure regulator setup are people having luck with? I've read mostly bad, but some good with the C5 setup and it does seem simple. I just don't want any issues with this.

I have a 340lph pump and a C5 regulator. The 340 pump slightly overpowers the C5 regulator and yields 64 psi at idle. Under higher fuel demands from the engine the fuel pressure drops to a steady 58 psi up to 7000rpm.
Have you considered the Holley 162-590 regulator? It is (on the outside) identical to the OEM C5 regulator, but Holley claims it can handle flows up to but not exceeding 450 lph. they have another version too, that comes with 6AN male ends on all the connections.
I myself am considering this option but am looking for feedback from actual users before having to do it twice.
