02 fbody fuel system
02 fbody fuel system Hello.
The fuel pump on my car(02 Firehawk) seems to be staying to fail. I'm looking at two options. One is get a stock assembly with the pressure regulator and all. The second option is to order an upgraded pump and do an adjustable regulator that'll give me room to grow. I also would like to keep it clean as possible.
Option one is obviously simple.
Second option is a little more difficult due to a different pressure regulator setup. How are people bypassing the factory one(on the pump assembly when adding the aftermarket? Also where are people putting them? Underneath near the filter?
Third option is switching to the C5 filter/regulator combo.
If you have pics or are willing to show how yours is setup that would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
