Default Vortech T-rex question

I just got a vortech t-rex in-line pump. This thing is noisy!! Is this normal? I got it to suplement the stock pump, so I can run nitrous. Is it possible to only power it up when I have the nitrous running, then the rest of the time, shut it off? Any help would be great. Thanks,

Many of the inline pumps are pretty loud. The best thing to get is the new Racetronix in-tank system. It can support over 600 hp, super easy to install, and is quieter than the stock pump.

You can not shut it off. An Airtex T-Rex pump is apx. 200L/Hr.
You are best off getting a proper in tank system.
